Jonah Energy is focused on implementation of new technologies, demonstrated accountability and sustainability in the protection of air, land, water and wildlife. Our Responsibly Produced Gas (RPG) initiative is at the heart of the effort to reduce our impact, particularly as it relates to methane emissions.

JONAH ENERGY RESPONSIBLY PRODUCED GAS

Jonah Energy acquires and operates producing oil and gas properties in North America. The Jonah Field, one of North America’s most prolific gas fields, was our first acquisition in 2014. Through improved efficiency and innovation we have halted production declines and reduced operating costs, while emphasizing safety and environmental performance.

Collaboration is key, which is why we signed on to the International Methane Emission Observatory Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0, are a member ONE Future and a sponsor of the GTI Veritas initiative. Each of these collaborations is a leader in a key component of industry change, and we believe that collectively they will result in consistent, credible and transparent emission reductions across the supply chain.

We see it as our job to lead in delivering energy as responsibly as possible to meet the expectation of a cleaner energy future.

Jonah Energy was named after the company's first acquisition within the prolific Jonah Field, located in Sublette County, Wyoming.

The company name is meant to honor the people who built the Jonah Field into a world-class natural gas asset, and to reflect the unique role that it plays as the cornerstone of the company's future growth.
